Digital Media Project

About

Hi and Welcome to the UBC Digital Media Project Blog!

The Digital Media Project is co-sponsored by the UBC School of Library, Archival and Information Studies and the IKBarber Learning Centre. Developed by the Digital Media Interns (that’s us! Adrienne, Maureen, Tania and Xuemei), the project aims to deliver the most relevant aspects of the Web 2.0 experience to UBC students in order to help them succeed in their academic and professional lives.

Not sure what “Web 2.0″ is all about? Click here.

Our workshops are over for 2008/09 but feel free to check out the page links on the right for reading information about some of the awesome 2.0 tools we’re talking about.

Be sure to also visit our other blog, This Is Your Life 2.0 for small activities to get you up to speed with living in the 2.0 world.

The workshop at the SLC was excellent. It really opened my eyes to the many ways I could connect, , organize, network, and keep updated in my life. Thanks so much!
